The position of Account Clerk is responsible for providing confidential accounting support of business operations for Katalina Holding Company, Inc. and its subsidiaries. We are looking for someone that can utilize their advanced knowledge in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting functions as well as effective communication and organizational skills.
This position is located in Ventura, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Account Clerk:
a. Process Customer invoices, and payments received.
b. Maintain computerized customer files. Performs periodic review of Account Receivable aging, follow up aged items with customers.
a. Compiles invoices, reimbursements, obtain appropriate approvals, process payments, maintain vendor files and year end compliance.
_Assist the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Staff Accountant with the year-end closing and audit process as needed.
_Other duties as assigned.
_Two (2) years or more accounting experience.
_Thorough knowledge of general office practices, procedures and equipment.
_Proficiency in technology, Microsoft products and Quick Books Enterprise Accounting system.
_Proactive team member that is exceptional with prioritization and workload management.
_Effective communicator, fostering communication with all levels of the organization.
