OFFICE ASSISTANT The Office Assistant is an integral member of the Pumford Construction team responsible to provide effective operational and administrative support, including gathering data, data entry, compile reports and maintain records for the Accounting Department.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBLILITIES
Assist Controller and Accounting Staff on multiple tasks and/or projects.
Manage incoming / outgoing daily correspondence (mail, emails, phone, paperwork, faxes, etc.) using best judgment to refer them to appropriate person.
Assist in organizing work, tasks and projects relating to specific deadlines.
Maintain and organize multiple filing systems.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Must be a self-starter, organized and deadline driven.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and energy.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Flexible to handle multiple and changing priorities.
Team player with strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
Ability to work independently and successfully complete tasks/projects with minimum oversight.
Proficient experience and command using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook). QuickBooks a plus.
